SANTS is proud to be represented by a dedicated group of ambassadors who serve on the ground across all provinces — from remote rural areas to busy urban centres. These committed ambassadors do more than carry out professional responsibilities; they embody the SANTS mission in their daily work, ensuring that our values and commitment to quality education reach every corner of the country.
We emphasise presence, passion, and purpose. Our ambassadors form a vital connection between SANTS and the communities we serve. Supporting Work Integrated Learning (WIL), mentoring students, and upholding the integrity of our qualifications in every region. During our ambassador workshops held alongside graduations, assessors and marketers came together not just to connect but to collaborate. These workshops provide a platform for shared learning, reflection, and deepening their alignment to the values that drive SANTS forward.
Ambassador Spotlight: Nodlelo Qwabe’s Inspiring Journey
With over 20 years of experience in the education sector, Mr Nondlelo Qwabe is a trusted former school principal and a committed SANTS ambassador. Recently, he journeyed to Enkovukeni Primary School near the Mozambique border — one of the most remote schools in South Africa.
Reaching the school required more than just professional commitment; it demanded physical resilience and unwavering purpose. Nondlelo crossed through wetlands in a mokoro (dugout canoe) and completed a strenuous mountain hike to reach his destination. But for him, this was never a burden — it was a calling. His dedication reflects the heart of SANTS: going where others might not, to ensure that every aspiring teacher receives the support they need, no matter how far.
This journey, both literal and symbolic represents the extraordinary lengths our network of assessors, mentors, and support staff go. All in order to uphold the integrity of our qualifications and ensure that no student, no matter how isolated their community, ever feels alone in their teaching journey. It is this kind of presence, passion, and purpose that underpins our distance learning model — bringing academic excellence to every corner of South Africa.
