Bursary Terms and Conditions

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: BURSARY DRAW

  1. Five bursaries will be awarded to five registered students enrolled in the Higher Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education, Diploma in Grade R Teaching, Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching or Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching programmes.
  2. Five tablets will be awarded to five registered students enrolled in the Higher Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education, Diploma in Grade R Teaching, Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching or Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching programmes.
  3. You will not be eligible to win both.
  4. The closing date will be 30 June 2026 at midnight.
  5. The following individuals will be entered into the draw for these bursaries:
    • New applicants:
      • SANTS has received your completed online application before or on 30 June 2026
      • SANTS received your non-refundable application fee before or on 30 June 2026.
      • You met the minimum entry requirements of the respective programme.
      • You fulfilled the criteria of conditional approval for admission to the respective programme, by:
        • Select your preferred language and material delivery options on MySANTS.
        • Submitting your options above, online on or before 30 June 2026
        • Making the required registration fee payment on or before 30 June 2026
    • Existing students
      • Students who are registered in the Diploma in Grade R Teaching, Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching or Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching programme whose account is paid up to date and in full on or before 30 June 2026.
  6. The bursary will be awarded for one academic semester only.
  7. The bursary will include study material, assignments, tuition, examinations and support for a period of one academic semester.
  8. Any applicant or student who fails to comply with the aforesaid conditions would not qualify for the bursary draws.
  9. If it should transpire that a Bursary was awarded based on false information supplied to SANTS,
  10. SANTS would be entitled to forthwith cancel the Bursary awarded.
  11. Deferrals, Withdrawals and Interruption of studies:
    • Bursaries are not transferable.
    • If you cancel or suspend your studies with SANTS Private Higher Education Institution, you will forfeit the entire bursary awarded.
  12.  Bursary awards cannot be deferred and are not transferable.
  13. Bursary awards do not apply to students who are receiving a bursary from any official sponsor towards his/her studies.
  14. Bursary awards do not apply to SANTS employees.
  15. The five lucky registered student teachers enrolled in the Higher Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education, Diploma in Grade R Teaching, Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase Teaching or Bachelor of Education in Intermediate Phase Teaching programmes will be selected through a random selection, based on the database of registered student teachers who complied with the above-stated criteria.
  16. These bursaries will be allocated at the sole discretion of SANTS.
  17. The ten lucky recipients be announced on 15 July 2026.
  18. As a tablet winner, you will not be eligible for future device specific giveaways.
